SEDLEY, SK – We’ve received notice that someone who was present at our Sedley Advice Centre has recently tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in our Sedley Advice Centre, located at 121 Broadway Street, Sedley, Saskatchewan on October 9, 2020.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority considers this a low-risk incident.
In addition to the cleaning protocols and the physical distancing practices we’ve put in place in all of our advice centres in response to COVID-19, we’re also taking the following steps:
- To ensure a safe environment, our Sedley Advice Centre will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday, October 14. Our target date to re-open will be no sooner than Thursday, October 22, 2020. Members can can still do their day-to-day banking using online banking, the Affinity Mobile app, Telebanking or by reaching out to our Contact Centre at 1-866-863-6237. They can also deposit cheques using their mobile device with the Deposit Anywhere™ feature and send or receive money through INTERAC e-Transfer®.
- The Saskatchewan Health Authority is currently investigating and notifying any close contacts.
- We’ve notified employees and members of our Sedley Advice Centre and instructed them to self-monitor for symptoms. Again, the risk is considered low.
