Member Card® Debit Cards


Your debit card – or your Member Card® as we like to call it at Affinity – is a helpful tool to manage your money. Use it for making purchases if the merchant terminal displays an INTERAC symbol. Simply tap or insert your card and you don’t need to worry about cash.


What if your card is ever lost or stolen? Take control of when and where your Member Card is used with Lock’N’Block™ – the latest fraud management tool. With Lock’N’Block, you can “Lock” and “Unlock” your card on Affinity Mobile or Online Banking and set your card status to:

  • allow all transactions
  • allow only Canadian transactions
  • block all transactions

You’ll have peace of mind knowing your Member Card can’t be used until you locate it (at which time you can “Unlock” your card and start using it again).

Access the Lock’N’Block feature in Affinity Mobile under “Menu” and in Online Banking under “My Profile.”

You can also always contact us to report a lost or stolen card.

ATMs across Canada

Our Member Card also allows you to withdraw cash from an ATM. Visit one of 1,800 credit union ding free® ATMs across Canada – that’s a larger ATM network than most banks! If you’re searching for an ATM, turn to the Affinity Mobile app to find the surcharge-free machine nearest you.

Ding free 

If you’re stuck and there’s no ding free ATM in sight, your card will work on other ATMs in Canada, but it’ll cost you $2 per withdrawal. Your card can take you beyond Canada’s borders, but when using your card internationally, you can expect a $5 charge for ATM withdrawals.
