Sereena King joined Affinity in September 2026 as Chief People Officer, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across human resources, organizational culture and enterprise strategy. Throughout her career, she has held senior executive roles and worked with leading organizations including BHP, Saskatchewan Research Council, Hatch and Case New Holland, building a reputation for developing people-focused strategies that strengthen organizational performance and culture.
During her 12 years with BHP, Sereena held several leadership positions, ultimately serving as Head of Human Resources for Canada. Most recently, she broadened her executive portfolio at Saskatchewan Research Council, as the Vice President Corporate Services leading not only human resources but also health and safety, facilities and security, information technology and external relations. Her experience spans local, national and global environments, giving her a unique perspective on leadership, workforce transformation and organizational growth.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Sereena is passionate about helping organizations succeed through their people. Her commitment to community is reflected in her volunteer leadership, including her current role with Foundations Learning & Skills Saskatchewan. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their three children, travelling, staying active, tackling home renovation projects and walking the family's rescue dog.
