Nilesh Kavia serves as Chief Executive Officer of Affinity Credit Union since February 2024, following his appointment as Chief Financial Officer in 2022 and several years in senior executive leadership roles since joining Affinity in 2017. Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role in strengthening Affinity's operational capabilities, financial performance and strategic direction.
Nilesh brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning financial services, healthcare, utilities and energy. Throughout his career, he has led transformational change, championed continuous improvement and developed high-performing teams that consistently deliver strong results.
A lifelong learner and advocate for leadership development, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He is also a Certified Management Accountant, Certified Leadership Coach and Certified Lean Leader.
Nilesh is committed to giving back to the community and currently serves on the Boards of Sanctum Care Group and SaskCentral.
