Corina Farbacher

Chief Risk Officer

Corina joined the Affinity executive team in July 2019, bringing more than 20 years of extensive legal, governance, risk and leadership expertise to the role.

She holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of Saskatchewan as well as an Institute of Corporate Directors, Director (ICD.D) designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Recently, she graduated from the Smith Executive MBA program from Queen’s University, after being recognized as a recipient of the 30% Club Scholarship awarded to one woman entering the program who has demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and leadership.

In her spare time, Corina gives back to her community by sitting on the SaskTel Centre Board of Directors. She’s served on several boards and committees including the Saskatchewan Co-operative Association, the Advisory Boards for the Centre for the Study of Co-operatives and the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy as well as the Canadian Bankers Association Legal Committee.
