Volunteer DaysWe know how big a role volunteers play in building strong organizations and communities. That's why we encourage and support our staff to volunteer by giving each Affinity employee one paid volunteer day per year to help them give their time to their communities. In 2013, this translated into 2,300 paid volunteer hours!
Community Events and Fundraising Affinity employees are empowered to participate in events and initiatives all across the province all year long. Here are just a few ways our employees give back:
Through our Community Spirit Fund, we enable each of our employees and elected officials to direct $200 per year to a charity or community group of his or her choice. Since launched in 2012, we have provided over $450,000 to local, provincial, and national community groups and charities chosen by our employees!
