At Affinity, we’re more than a bank – we’re a community collaborator, and that means we love to get out of our advice centres and get involved in the communities we serve. You’ll see our people sitting on volunteer boards, leading community projects and lending a hand at volunteer events all across the province.
It’s not just something we do, it’s who we are!
Our employees volunteer during their free time, but they also get involved during work time. We have a ton of opportunities for employees to help out with events and organizations we support across Saskatchewan. Each year, they earn a paid day to volunteer in their community!
Affinity employees have $200 they can direct to a charity of their choice each year on the credit union’s behalf. We call this program the Community Spirit Fund and since launching it in 2012, it’s led to more than a million dollars in support for local organizations doing truly important work in their communities. We’re proud to partner with these organizations to build a better world, and we’re thankful to all of our Affinity members who make it all possible.
