IDA participant
The IDA Project is a financial learning program to help marginalized youth stay in school and contribute to their local community. The project teaches youth how to manage their financial affairs, save money towards a goal or objective, develop employment skills, and work towards completing their education or entering the workforce.
Affinity Credit Union was instrumental in bringing partners together to start the IDA project five years ago.
We are proud to support 37 youth participating in the program this year. The program is run from Nutana Collegiate with participating youth coming from many high schools across Saskatoon.
