Cyberbullying Prevention Program
Cyberbullying is when one individual targets another child using interactive technologies such as cell phones, websites, emails, and text messaging.
The program describes the causes and effects of cyberbullying and what actions you can take to protect yourself from being targeted.
The program is an Affinity Credit Union initiative and is delivered at the invitation of schools and community organizations*.
Subject matter is tailored for different audiences. Participants learn to:
- Define cyberbullying
- Understand the types of cyberbullies and how they operate
- Implement prevention strategies
- Locate help
- Identify online resources
