Kinsmen Telemiracle
Every year TeleMiracle amazes Canadians by how much money for charity is raised by a province with such a small population.
TeleMiracle is an internationally-known telethon that raises money for the Kinsmen and Kinette Foundations. The Foundations help Saskatchewan families in crisis, whether it be to help pay for hotel costs if their child has to have surgery in another city, to purchase a special piece of medical equipment, or to fill some other need.
Affinity Credit Union gets involved every year by selling "helping hands" at all branches, as well as making a corporate donation.
