Clean Up Campaign
The Meewasin/Affinity Clean Up campaign is a major success each year, with over 25,000 helping to make Saskatoon shine.
Volunteers in the Clean-Up campaign are encouraged to choose an area of the city to clean, register on-line with Affinity Credit Union and are then contacted by Meewasin which provides garbage bags and draw prizes to thank the volunteers for their efforts.
Without the support, encouragement and work of Affinity Credit Union, this event would not be possible. Meewasin and Affinity Credit Union staff work together very well, and the effect on the environment is both noticeable and appreciated by the citizens of Saskatoon. Through this project, everyone has the opportunity to take ownership for the environment they call home.
