Air Show

Since 2002, we have supported the Canada Remembers Air Show by providing free tickets to Veterans and their spouses to attend. It’s just one way of showing our appreciation. In 2002, 2003 and 2004, Credit Union employees showed their volunteer spirit by running the veterans' tent at the show. Employees greatly enjoyed the opportunity to thank our veterans in person for their many contributions to our great country.
The Canada Remembers Air Show, created in 1995, is part of the Canadian Government's National "Canada Remembers Program". It is a salute to the 50th Anniversary of the end of WWII. The show is Canada's only annual attraction dedicated to the Remembrance of Canadian Veterans while also paying tribute to Allied Veterans. As Canada's largest annual Salute to Veterans and instrumental in raising awareness of Remembrance, the Air Show has educated and entertained over 350,000 people.
Thank you to all veterans for everything they risked to make our community what it is today. Freedom is a precious gift.
